Independent trap artist from the DMV area with a handful of albums and mixtapes under his belt, the 23-year-old started off his career signed to Internet Money and went solo in 2021. Since then, he’s dropped off Ascension in 2021 as well as its deluxe – which saw features from Lil Tecca, Trippie Redd, Joony, SoFaygo, Cochise, and Summrs – followed by Beautiful Michi Girls and WTF Is P¡NK in 2022. In 2023 alone, Ty delivered three LPs: Black Truck Life and its deluxe, YUHEAME, and 264. Earlier this year, the emerging rapper unveiled his single “Adventure Time (racks on my body)” as fans waited for the imminent ASCENSION 2: Part 1 album, which dropped in July. Now, with ASCENSION 2: Part 2, the new era brings some of Ty’s most heartfelt, personal songs yet, like “Lift Up Your Head” and “Raw Dog Drippin.”
