Natural Born Leaders (NBL) is a hip hop and soul prog-rock band based out of Asheville NC. They are fueled by the abstract, socially driven, and smooth and at times gritty, poetry-like vocals and hard hitting funky dankness of the rhythm section. They may be directly influenced by bands contrasting in range from The Fugees to Nirvana but their music displays links to everything from jazz to blues, to Afro-Latin and jam music. All blended into a soulful explosion of colors, powerfully painted in the raw form of hip hop and soul.
