YXNG Float' born George Blanks on August 2nd. Raised in a single parent home in North East, D.C. he found comfort at an early age in the music of BoneThugs-N-Harmony, Biggie Smalls, Bob Marley, and Lauryn Hill. At the age of 12, he formed a band based on the sound of DC called Go-Go with a few of his friends. In 2013 Float' and a few of his close friends formed the hip hop collective Still Floatin'. Still Floatin' he says, "Is an idea and lifestyle to where negativity and anything related to the negative is irrelevant because it gets floated over." Since his formulation of Still Floatin' he has released 5 mixtapes under the imprint, including 3 solo projects, a number of music videos, and singles.
