A ‘Real Southern Girl from Wilcox, Alabama, BabyDee, born Derrica Hicks, grew up in very humbling circumstances. She is primed and ready to join the upper echelon of provocative female rappers currently dominating the charts and ‘The Culture.’ Now a resident of Dallas, Texas, BabyDee has been swarming the marketplace with several breakthrough singles containing some very fun and memorable hooks like her debut, “Tip Me While I Twerk”; its breakout follow-up and fan favorite, “Passed Around”; “White Teeth,” with a remix featuring Dem Franchise Boyz; the Alabama street anthem, “Yeah, Yeah”; “Dawg Ass Bihh,” which went really big in the ATL – sampling, Gucci Mane’s “Street Nigga”; and her newest single, “Catch Up,” projected to be a hit for this artist who writes ALL of her own lyrics.
