Fueled by his passion for music since age 7, Surve began professionally recording raps at 14 and later signed with his first major label, as Young Choppa, with the Inc., at 17 . During this period, he had the opportunity to share the stage with artists like UNLV, Choppa Style, Cheeky Black, Lil Boosie, Webbie, and Mrs. Tee. After parting ways with his label and rap group in 2013, Surve emerged as a beacon of positivity. He survived a harrowing attempted murder by a group member stemming from a faith-related dispute. For 13 years, Surve has devoted himself to empowering communities worldwide through outreach. As the founder of Yahshua KiKs & Apparel, he introduced the Yah 1 Genesis, a pioneering faith-based sneaker designed to serve outreach purposes. With over 23 years of experience crafting songs for fellow artists and labels, Surve stands out as the first Christian Hip Hop artist featured in Rolling Stone and has been spotlighted in Hip Hop DX, This is 50, and Digital Journal.
