Since signing with Strange Famous Records in 2011 to release their official debut Rooftop Shake, featuring production from the legendary 9th Wonder, Metermaids have been fortunate to regularly tour the country with their Strange Famous Record family and the artist who made it all possible: Sage FrancisThe 2008 release of their free mixtape Nightlife in Illinoise - a mash-up of Metermads' pre-SFR record Nightlife and Sufjan Stevens' classic record Illinoise - received coverage in Spin, The Village Voice, Playboy, etc, lead to over 300,000 individual downloads.Metermaids' live show remains amongst the best in the hip hop game. And they were integrating hip-hop and indie rock / pop when Post Malone (we still love you Posty) was still in high school. And they're only getting better.
