LJOVA (Lev Zhurbin) is a New York-based composer, performer, and collaborator. Among others, he has written works for Yo-Yo Ma and the Silkroad Ensemble, the City of London Sinfonia, The Knights, The Louisville Orchestra. As an arranger, he has worked extensively with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Natalia Lafourcade, Ricky Martin, Carlos Vives, Kayhan Kalhor, Gustavo Santaolalla. He has scored several prize-winning feature, documentary, animated, and short films.He is the leader of LJOVA AND THE KONTRABAND and TRIO FADOLÍN. Ljova is a graduate of The Juilliard School and the Sundance Institute's Film Composers Lab.This channel contains videos and playlists spanning his career.
