Edara was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts and started singing along with a tape of Lisa Lisa when she was only three. At nine, she was dancing and choreographing her own performances at the local YMCA. Professionally, Edara has been a dancer for Pharrell, Diddy, Rihanna, Ricky Martin, Cassie, Jason Derulo, Santigold, among others.Her song, “Saw Red,” became the most requested song and went to #1 on the stations charts in Seattle in 2009 after a DJ at C89.5 Dance Radio Station started playing the song on air. Soon after she turned her attention to her band Shinobi Ninja. Edara became the lead singer and took the name Baby G.In 2010, Edara was featured as a singing coach on the Emmy-award winning MTV show, Made.
