His musical production aesthetic is a progression from the early-'90s G-funk sound, characterized by fat synth bass lines and soulful keys influenced by George Clinton (Parliament) Roger Troutman (Zapp) & the one and only Quincy Jones.He was key in developing the “West Coast” GFunk sound while working with artists such as Dr. Dre, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, King Tee, Spice 1, Kurupt, Tha Dogg Pound, E-40, Tha Eastsidaz, WC, Nate Dogg, Xzibit, Dj Pooh, DJ Quik, Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, Brian McKnight, Lucy Pearl, BJ the Chicago Kid, Talib Kweli, Kenny Lattimore, Deborah Cox, Faith Evans, and many others.
